  • Head south to The Galleria of Mt. Lebanon to make a dent in that ever-growing gift list, with 90 makers spanning two floors from 10 am to 4pm. The juried mix of handmade products includes everything from artwork, clothing, toys, wellness products and housewares, to ceramics, glass, jewelry, pet treats and food. Event is free, family-friendly and offer free parking. 

 

  • Light Up Night in Downtown Pittsburgh, around the Cultural District.  Beginning at 10am and continuing throughout the day. There will be a Holiday Market, Ice Skating, Food, Entertainment, and at the end of the festivities, a Fire Works Display.

 

Beginning at 4 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, the following closures will be in place:

  • Market Square

  • Forbes Avenue between Stanwix Street and Market Square

  • Grame Street between Fifth Avenue and Market Square

  • Market Street between Fifth Avenue and Market Square

  • Commonwealth Place past the Wyndham Hotel valet to Stanwix Street (Only garage traffic will be allowed, exits only allowed after 4 p.m.) 

  • Fort Duquesne and Sixth Street garage (exit only) 

A closure of Fort Duquesne Boulevard eastbound from 6th Street to 7th Street is expected to begin at 6:30 p.m. and last until 9:30 p.m., but it could begin as early as 3 p.m., at the discretion of the onsite commander. 

Finally, the following closures will be in place from 8 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Saturday:

  • 6th Street from Liberty Avenue to Fort Duquesne Boulevard

  • Barkers Place from Penn Avenue to Fort Duquesne Boulevard

  • Scott Place from Penn Avenue to Fort Duquesne Boulevard

  • McCrea Way from 6th Street to Barkers Place

·      Add some music to your Thanksgiving weekend with this annual holiday tradition. It’s that joyous November night when the historic East Liberty venue honors its renowned namesakes with a “fresh take on beloved standards.” Tap your toes, snaps those fingers and groove to Cuban beats while celebrating visionary Pittsburgh artists Billy Strayhorn and Gene Kelly. Musical maestro for the night is bandleader Hugo Cruz, who will reimagine their iconic works by incorporating Latin percussion. The exciting performance also spotlights direction by Pria Dahiya, lighting design by El Wolhardt and an all-star lineup of special musical guests. The festivities kick off with an 

exclusive VIP Soundcheck reception at 6 p.m., followed by the marquee event at 7:30 p.m.It’s one concert that won’t break the bank, because tickets are available on a “Pay What Moves You” basis.

·      Winter Warmer Beer Festival at The Pennsylvanian  - Sipping suds inside a Beaux Arts landmark while wearing your PJs is a night to remember. Turning the Downtown jewel into a Burgh Beer Hall, the Winter Warmer showcases a mouth-watering variety of unique and innovative “cold-weather beers” freshly made for the season. There are more than 18 beer-makers to explore, from Strange Roots, Allusion Brewing, Cinderlands, Brew Gentlemen and Grist House, to Chimera Brewing, Four Seasons, Top Dog Cocktails and more. No beer fest is complete without sustenance, which is why Cold Friends Kitchen and Pittsburgh Smokehouse are serving up hearty bites. DJ Hoagie Dreams will keep spirits high spinning sounds for a “Jammy Jam dance party” with hundreds of your newest besties.
